Seeing as how flash keeps effing CRASHING because i'm taking up too much memory and whatnot, I'm going to release this one in 2 parts. I've never done it this way before because i like seeing completed work. I'm thinking with all the HD sprites in my resource flash, i'm eating up the virtual memory and blah blah blah crash, curse words, sheer annoyance...etc. So yeah. Part one will be the Prologue. There's one fight and it will set the scene for things to come. There is MUCH more to come. I'm just going to have to to it bits at a time until somebody discovers why the hell flash keeps using up so much effin memory that it's not supposed to be using and find a way to stop flash from fucking crashing every few sprites in. Expect the prologue to be released within the next two weeks...UNLESS I find a solution to the problem. Stay tuned.

judgeing from your ealier pics I'd say the lag was caused bye using BOTH HD sprites
and your speacial/filter effects. this is really just a guess though.
I heard that lag can be lowered if u apply blurs/glows/ect to a sprite in fireworks before u import it to flash but I don't know if thats true or not.

Actually, when I went to adobe.com and read some of the forums, everybody who has this program is having this problem. There is no explanation and currently no solution. This is coming from one of the professional adobe support techs. So, I'll have to stifle my frustrations and try to push on through. I'm even having trouble with the second part. We'll see what happens.

How big is your .fla? Using a shit-ton of hi-def sprites could definitely have negative consequences.
