I gotta admit, ever since I pit these two against each other, i've been nothing but pleased. I think Cyclops and Reiko are going to develop a good rivalry in the flashes to come, seeing as how they are kinda the ambassadors of their respective relms. Cyclops has a freakish amount of sprites and Reiko looks cool and has the finess of Mortal Kombat. I know I do updates more frequently than most animators. Hell, I would like to release it now and show you the progress, but I have many more ideas and touch ups to do before it's done. I'm willing to go out on a limb and say this one might be post ready by the middle to end of next month. Work, school, and gym take up a lot of my time and energy, but I add tidbits when I can.
Today was all about music. Playing around with Audacity is creating more ideas for me as I alter music. When I listen to my music tracks, I visualize a fight or a scene going on as it's playing and if I can put it into the current project, it gets put. If not, it will be saved for later. I have lots of music and that equals lots of projects.
It will be difficult to find a suitable part one ending for this flash, but, I promise you all, this will be the flashiest flash I have ever done. That's not saying much seeing as how i'm bit behind the power curve compared to other veteran animators. I plan to implicate menus, bios, story history, and a full theatrical preview of part 2. As for the future, I expect to have a crossover between this one and MKU by part 3. By the time this one is done, you should have a good grasp of my "style" of animation. Expect the feel of MKU 1 in this one. I'm psyched! Stay tuned!
